Recently I've been experiencing issues with my volume while playing Stadia on the Google TV. First it was a mic problem which consisted of Stadia recognizing my headphones were plugged in, me being able to hear other players, but they could not hear me. Switching over to play on Chrome browser solved this issue. Now my volume on my TV(via Google TV) won't play at all while using just Stadia unless I have my headphones plugged into the controller. Has anyone else been experiencing anything like this? I have unplugged the dongle to reset. I have not tried anything else other than adjusting the volume game chat, party chat, ext settings in Stadia itself. Again these problems only exist in the Google TV Stadia App.
This may be completely off, but have you tried doing a hardware reset of the controller? I kind of wonder if it's somehow stuck thinking that a headset is connected even when it isn't.

@codesplice well after performing a hard reset on my Stadia controller, as you suggested, I was able to restore volume on my TV. As far as the mic functionality I don't know at this point but I have a feeling that all issues were related. Many thanks, my friend!!!
@EsseEstPercipi what can you tell us about the audio setup on your TV? Are you using the TV's built-in speakers or something external?
I am using built-in speakers on the tv when I am not using my headset(mic). This setup worked fine, and then it didn't. Additionally, when using the mic my audio does not broadcast now but Stadia still recognizes that my headset is plugged in. I can hear all the other players and game volume with the mic. Tested an alternative mic same problem. That setup also worked and then it didn't. Solved mic problem by connecting to Stadia through Chrome app and running an HDMI to the TV from laptop. The game volume would play through the TV using this method when not connected to the mic via the Stadia controller (no Bluetooth). Last connected to Stadia through Google TV (for convenience) and the game volume now does not work unless my mic is plugged into the controller. The volume works fine on all other apps on Google TV. At this point focusing on the most recent issue of no game volume coming through the TV while using the Stadia on Google TV I am not sure if my mic audio is now working for the game chat. I am going to continue to troubleshoot and will keep you updated with any progress made on my end. I know it seems like things are a complete mess over here, but usually, all things concerning Stadia run next to perfection. That is why I wanted to reach out for any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions from the community. Thanks in advance, and if any further clarification is needed please let me know and I will try my best to further explain the situation.

I will give it a try and let you know. Lately, I've just been running an HDMI directly from my SurfaceGo to my TV bypassing the Google TV altogether eliminating all issues. Maybe the fact that I've been jumping back and forth from the Google TV to my SurfaceGo in such close proximity has caused some connectivity issues. I'll keep you updated on my progress as soon as I have a chance to do a hardware reset on the controller.
