Will 2019 & Newer TV's with Android TV with Google Assistant & Chromecast built-in, will it be compatible or at some point? Example (https://global.sharp/aquos/en/androidtv/)
Kinda pointless to have to buy and install a Chromecast ultra to brand new 2019 tv's that has android tv with google assistant and chromecast built-in dont you think? I dont see any marketing or FAQ about this.

BTW not knocking on Google on this, I am a huge FAN, everything I own is Google or android based. I have 6 Google homes & minis and Google hub, google wifi and 3 Brand new SHARP 55" 4K Android TVs with google assistant and chromecast built-in and it just sucks, I been waiting to buy Stadia badly BUT I dont want to have to have 2 chromecast setup on the SAME tv in order for this to work? I little disappointed on this.
At this point it is anybody's guess when/if Android TV will get Stadia support, and which models will or will not make the cut. We do know that it is inevitable, as I'm sure Google would like nothing more than everybody who buys one of the new TVs (or upgrades existing TVs with sufficient hardware) to automatically have access to Stadia.
One thing is for sure, though, that we definitely won't see anything like this happen before Stadia Base launches in (likely early) 2020.
My Nvidia Shield TV has Chromecast (Ultra) built-in with firmware version 1.42.179832 which is newer than the standalone Chromecast Ultra (1.42.172094).
It seems to me that Google just don't want to enable it on Chromecast built-in devices with Ultra capability. They probably want us to buy another CCU, which is something I wouldn't do.
I was able to get Stadia to run through Chrome on my Android TV. I followed these instructions.
