Hi all,
I just received my new Razer Kraken X USB headset.
I plugged it in to my controller using my USB-C adapter but Stadia doesn't seem to recognise the headset at all.
The lights come on when I plug the headset in to the controller, so I know the USB-C adapter is working.
I've tried the headset on my laptop and it works fine.
I've also tried other headsets on the controller using 3.5mm jack and they worked fine too.
Any help to get it working would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Try plugging it into a phone, tablet or other USB-C device that supports standard headsets through your adapter and see if it gets recognized and works or not to rule out the adapter. Just because the headset gets power does not mean it's working properly necessarily.
I have the same problem with an USB-C-Headset.
It works on PC and on Smartphone, but not on Stadia Controller. Even the Sound stays at the TV/CC, when I plug it into the Controller. I hear a faint crackle in the headset, in the moment when I plug it in, but that's all.
The 3.5mm jack is working with normal earphones.
Are there some requirements? Is there a Google certification?
I have a similar problem, samsung usb headset doesn't work in LG webOS app, but on chromcast 4k works fine,
I gave feedback but no improvement
