Hi. Whenever I turn my Stadia Controller on it blinks white to let me know it is ready to connect but when I enter the code on both my chromecast and my phone, it doesn't connect. I've double checked and the chromecast and the controller are on the same network, I've entered the correct code 10+ times, and I've even reconnected both the chromecast and the controller to wifi just to make sure they were on the same wifi but no matter what I do, after entering the linking code my controller blinks orange and refuses to connect. Any advice?
@ScytheLeo I'm a little bit confused. You mentioned that the controller is on the same network as chromecast. So have you actually been able to get the controller connected? What do you mean by this?
Are you able to pair the controller with the Stadia app on your phone? This is the first step. Once you're successful, you can try to connect to chromecast, but make sure your phone and chromecast are on the same network.
@Ivan @The controller, my phone, and the chromecast are all connected to the same wifi. I was able to connect the controller to wifi through my phone but in order to play games on either my phone or the chromcast, I need to enter a linking code on the controller. The problem is that even when I put the linking code the my phone or the chromecast shows into the controller, it blinks orange twice and refuses to connect. I've made sure that I've been entering the correct code but it doesn't
@ScytheLeo According to the help article, orange blinking twice means incorrect code. I know you mentioned that you tried inputting correctly, so I'm not really sure what to suggest here other than try again and make sure 100% that the code is correct.

One other thing, you're not on VPN are you?
@Ivan I've imput the correct code 10 different times, Up, Y, B, B. But no matter which code I try to input it always says it's wrong. And I don't use a VPN.
@ScytheLeo I'm out of ideas to be honest. Let me ask around and see if I can suggestions for more things you can try.
@ScytheLeo Here's a few more things you can do. Please take a look at the article below:

Can you try maybe factory reset your controller? There are a few other options you can try to troubleshoot unresponsive controller.
@Ivan I've tried factory reseting the controller 3 times now. I've reconnected it to wifi each time but it still refuses to like even when I use the correct linking code.
@ScytheLeo Is it possible to try it with a different network? Or any chance you know anyone else that also own a Stadia controller? If yes, try and see if their controller works on your network. Basically try to isolate the root cause and see what's actually causing the issue. Otherwise you can go through the article and see some of the suggestions they have there.
One other thing you can try is to talk to support and see if they can help. Or maybe even try to get a replacement if it's still under warranty.

On top right, click on 'Contact Us' > then request chat/callback to speak to a representative. Try it from a computer browser if the option is not shown on mobile
Other than that, I got nothing. Hopefully someone else can chime in with their suggestions.
You do realise the code is different for each device?
@MetaHawk Yes, I also realize the the code changes on each device after a passage of a certain amount of time
Strange, mine never changes. I take it you enter the code displayed at the top right of the tv when connecting to chromecast?
I normally use the tv so I don't even need to enter the code as it connects automatically 5 seconds after turning the controller on.
