I'm in the US army and I am currently stationed in South Korea. Is there a way to use my stadia during my time here, or am I just screwed till I get back to the States?
Hey @DeathHead,
when you are in an unsupported country, not all games might be available for you (see the FAQ answers below). I heard some people trying out VPNs, but personally I can't recommend it, because it doesn't always work and Google probably has restrictions against it too. So I guess in this case you need to wait indeed until you are back in the supported country where you are living.
What countries can I play in?
You can play Stadia from any of the countries where it's available. Stay tuned for more information about country availability.
If I buy games in a supported country, can they be played in a non-supported country?
Not all games will necessarily be available in all countries. Stay tuned for news about the next countries where we'll launch.
That honestly sucks, I'm a Stadia user as well and I was told by someone from support to use a vpn but there is no way to play with a vpn it lags a lot. I believe that there could be a large community over here with all the soldiers and the fact that Stadia is just cheap and most people here are trying to save money could make you guys a lot of money. I would love to introduce a lot of people to Stadia but unfortunately I can't. I know the Stadia team is working on moving the platform forward but I honestly believe that making it available to more people should be the number one priority.
