Saving games - freeze

Hi I'm experiencing freezes for like 1-2 minutes at the point when games save progress. I have tried grid and tomb raider. I can definitely associate freeze with saving game progress. Anyone else had this issue? Google are you aware of this. Any tips?

@FunkyKoval GRID hanging/crashing on the race results screen is a known issue which CodeMasters hopes to have patched by the end of the week:

In the meantime, I've seen it mentioned that if you start mashing [A] after completing a race and before the results screen loads you might be able to skip past the hang. 

I've not seen reports of crashes saving in Tomb Raider though. Is that "Shadow of..." or "... Definitive Edition"?
