Router/Network Settings for Stadia

Jump to Best Response

Hi All,

I've bought Stadia some days ago, immediately installed with ethernet cable to my tv, and it looks great and let me have a lot of fun.
I was wondering if there are any particoular setting can be applied into my router/network in order to let stadia work better and minimize lags and input lag, i haven't big lag problem and input lag is more then accettable, however i just want to know if there's something like "DMZ settings" as we do with our console or something like that we can made to ensure the best experience possible.

Thank you all and have a good Stadia

Hi @ZonAlessio

What could be make sense is that you configure your Stadia / Chromecast as a high priority network device. That means that you setup a QoS (Quality of Service). Don't know if your router supports such feature.

That means that the Chromecast gets more bandwidth and other consumer like other household phones cannot "pirate" Stadia's performance.
