I can’t play it with CCU, too sloopy. It runs better in Chrome. Not 4k enable. I swap between destiny 2 and outcasters. Is like going from next gen (D2) to PS2 (outriders) anyone has issues too?
There were similar things happening around launch of Cyberpunk due to congestion caused by the initial release surge, Destiny 2 is likely running on a different cluster that isn't encountering the same amount of load. I'm not making excuses for the service, but I feel it's likely that the issues will probably subside after the tidal wave caused by the launch lessens a bit. For me, though, CCU has always worked better than Chrome so I find that bizarre that you have a very different experience between the two. Is the PC you play on Chrome wired and the CCU wireless, or otherwise have a spottier connection perhaps?
Hiya @thesludgebucket and @choritiso,
The game indeed needs some attention as do the Outriders servers.
Did you try to change the Performance mode within the Display options?
I noticed a way better experience when set to: Framerate instead of Resolution.
Maybe worth a shot.
Yeah, I play on a chromecast ultra as well. But when playing Outcasters, this is the only game that does this as well, my game will "freeze" and boot me back to the main screen. This happens 3 or 4 times in a row sometimes. This can't be an internet problem either because when this happens I can still move or pause the game but the other players no longer move or register when hit. The audio also "freezes." None of my other games do this. Any answers, suggestions or thoughts?

I have several times with no impact whatsoever. The fr and res shouldnt crash the server. But it shouldn't matter what settings I play a on my CCU. The chromecast is hardwired to my router/modem. Plus I play at 4k with no lag whatsoever with all my other games. If I decide to olay Outcasters, I own the Galaxy S21 Ultra so I just open Samsung DeX on my Roku TV and play it that way, works fine.

Still haven,t play right with CCU. Is not playable at all. Besides “launch overbooking” game needs some patch.
