No audio on Chromecast

Jump to Best Response

Everything was working fine last night, I plugged in some wired headphones to test them out. This morning now I can only get audio through the headphones. When I take them out of recognises that the headset has been removed but no audio. I've unlinked to controller, factory reset and rebooted the Chromecast.

If I connect to my computer, wired, they're 6 sound straight away.

Any ideas

Thanks

I had the same experience with out of nothing no sound when I play Stadia with Chromecast with Google TV. Delete and reinstall the Stadia app fixed it for me for now. Very strange...

Did you already check that Chromecast Audio is turned up in the settings (Stadia button -> Audio)?  Do you still get sound when you plug a headset back into the controller?
