Seem New Google TV (aka Sabrina) don't support Stadia App, it is right? For what reason Google don't believe into this project? I hope it is a wrong news.
I would say, before doing speculations, let's wait until the launch event on Wednesday and then we will know.
As it will be livestreamed to the public as well, we can mark this in our calendar at least:
I would also keep an eye on social media and here in the Stadia forum as I would guess that announcements are also coming on those channels/forums.
I mean Google mentioned already that the new Google TV will support Stadia at some point and expected is first half year of 2021. So until then we just need to use the current chromecast. ![]()

So what was the final verdict? After they have sold me one, when will they support stadia again. Seems it could serve like a simple gamepad addition also for Google play apps. Lot of possibility for them to develop some meat integration.

Honestly this is the only issue ive had so far with Stadia as a product. For a service thats marketed to stream to most devices, not being supported on a GOOGLE TV seems like a pretty crazy bit of laziness.
Having to play Doom eternal on my chromebook connected via HDMI to my google tv right now and its giving me heartburn.
