So we've had Stadia on Google TV for a while now and most of the game experiences are fine. However, lately there have been a couple of times when games just don't have audio. In Steel Titans there's no engine sounds from the truck you're playing and in Control there's no spoken dialogue by default - yet on a YouTube walkthrough Jesse is talking. Anyone else experience this sort of thing?
Hi @B19Daddy,
Do you have a active Pro subscription?
The reason I ask is because I am also having audio issues when Surround is enabled.
As soon as I disable surround within the Stadia App on Google TV sounds is corrected.
Looks like a wider issue.
Thanks for trying @B19Daddy
For me forcing Stadia to use Stereo fixed the issue.
I am using a Google TV but here you can find the setting:
Options --> Surround sound - Stereo (off)
Hope it helps for now but it will be fixed later on as it seems to be a wider issue. ![]()
I've also had this issue, I can't look at the moment but thinking about it I'm wondering wether the app needs updating ? Otherwise .. I've exhausted everything else I can think of to try ![]()

An interesting @RXShorty and yes I'm a Pro subscriber. I'll check these settings out and see if it makes a difference. The TV we play on is in the kids room and it's not hi-tech enough for surround sound. Could be the answer.

Thanks @RXShorty , this did the trick on Steel Titans. TV was set up as 5.1 surround by default, which I've now corrected. Haven't tried Control yet but hopefully I'll get a look tonight.
