Hi, I'm playing Everspace on PC and Chromecast.
Each time I begin a new Stadia session my keybinds are reset, regardless of whether I'm playing on Chromecast Ultra with my Stadia controller- or on PC with my XB1 controller.
I saw a thread that mentioned this issue, and it seems to not matter which game is played.
I don't think it matters, but: both my PC and Chromecast are wired into the router, and the internet speeds are in the gigabit range.
Update:
I learned I can 'skip' a session across devices without terminating it. Basically open the client on PC or Mobile or Chromecast, and then open it at any time on a second device. The client will close on the first device and pick up like nothing happened on the second device.
It seems as though as long as a session is not terminated on the server side, the keybinds are saved-even across devices. I tested it on Chromecast, PC, and Mobile. Even the game continues like nothing happened.
Note: In a new session, the keybinds appear as though modifications remain fromy last session, but the game behaves as though the settings are default.
If my last session is terminated (just like if I didn't play in a few hours or days) and I want to play again, I have to go in to keybinds on my PC, restore defaults to clear my previous modifications, re-enter my modifications, apply, then skip back to chromecast or keep playing on my PC.
