Games do not lagg when 50hz is disabled in Google home app. You must first select your unit/device and then go to settings.
But if i cast tv serie blindspot just to make an example it do lagg.
So when i use it to cast TV series i must choose 50hz to avoid constant lagg, if i want to play games on stadia i must turn the 50hz mode off again to avoid lagg.
This is something they must fix so it goes automaticlt, so i not need to change it and that other users get the best experience while playing on stadia!
I think many users complane about lagg and say stadia does not work great just because they must deactivate the 50hz mode!!
Nobody should be using the 50hz HDMI mode for Stadia. It exists only for playing back content actually encoded in 50hz which would mainly be a Europe thing and even then is probably still rare these days.
Yes, but it’s strange that i must use 50hz mode to watch the TV serie blindspot to get it without lagg. That is a TV serie from 2016,
Casting it from a TV app made for europe. So that app/serie must have been decoded in 50hz.
On my Apple TV unit i dont have this issue, so cromecast should have choosen Hz automaticly to avoid unhappy customers that complane about lagg.
Some users may forget to change it back if they had set it to 50hz when possible option, or they do not know what it is, then they get a constant small lagg when they playing stadia.
I hope people be aware of this settings, since most would also think that everythig is fine since they managed the settings in stadia app, this is under Google home app..
