Failed to initialize

Hi,

my Google stadia wont Connect to my tv. It keeps saying it cant initialize. It says google is working on an update for older chromecasts even though im using a brand new one out of the box that came with the stadia. 

any tips on how to fix this?

Hi @Stefanoortwijn,

Have you tried leaving the Chromecast plugged in and connected to the internet for a day? Then if needed do a restart using the google home app?

It sounds like your Chromecast's version is not up to date and needs a update. What I mentioned above it the update process. Current version (what I have on mine) is 1.56.281627. can you check if yours have the same version or not?
