The settings for the chromecast ultra do not give me an option to show the code for connecting the controller via the inactive mode.
Chromecast is up to date with the software
Any ideas?
(The controller connects perfectly to the Pixel 4 XL.)
Just solved the topic. It wasn't a problem at all, just a wrong understanding by myself.
I had the "Chromecast with Google TV" connected, this is not working with Stadia.
With the "old" "Chromecast Ultra" it works now ![]()
Need now two HDMI-ports of the TV but that's ok.
@Disti4 Just curious, are you currently setting Chromecast Ultra to connect to WiFi or through ethernet cable? I set mine up through ethernet cable and it's also not showing the display code to pair the controller.
However, if I start a game through the app, once the game launches it will prompt the code to pair the controller, and I was able to use the controller just fine.
What's the firmware version of your Chromecast Ultra btw?
