Connecting second tv and CCU with ethernet

Jump to Best Response

I have the the CCU plugged into my 4K tv in the living room with ethernet, right next to the router. This works great!

Now I want to set up a second tv and CCU in a second room quite some distance from the router where the wifi signal is below 50 %.

Now the questions is: Is it enough just to draw a single ethernet cable from my router to the second CCU, or do I need to install an additional access wifi point (also preferably through ethernet cable)  ??

Will the controller not automatically start up both CCUs then, if they are on the same network? Maybe that is just the price to pay for having the best cabled connection?

ps. the router is mesh capable but cables are just better

Hi,

The controller is linked to each CCU, so you should be all set for each tv/room.

If it was me, i would draw a ethernet cable.
