Chromecast gave up after 20 minutes of gaming

Hello, yesterday i wanted to play with my stadia for the first time. Did the whole setup. Bought the assassins creed game and after playing for 20 minutes suddenly i got a green screen and my chromecast shut down. Since then i am not able to get my chromecast working again. On the tv it keeps saying there is no signal on the hdmi port. Already tried other hdmi ports, tried resetting my router but no success. Even doing a factory reset of the chromecast by pressing and holding the little button for 30sec does nothing. In my google home app it is also unable to find my chromecast. Think my chromecast just gave up after playing 20 minutes. What should i do? Can i return the chromecast and get a new one? Kind regards, Gerry

Sounds like you may have got a defective Chromecast. Contact the Google store and see what they say. https://support.google.com/store/#topic=3237699

Contacted support at google. Tomorrow i should receive an email with a link to order my replacement for the chromecast. Hopefully it won't take long before i receive it :slightly_smiling_face:

Ok so after more than a month i still didn' received an email to order my replacement(which i need to pay in advance and they will refund when they received the defect one)  for the defect chromecast ultra. Already talked 5 times i think with support. Always the same answer... Our team is processing your request you will receive an email yada yada... This is taking ridiculously long. Really not satisfied with this kind of support!!!! Didn't expected this from a google product. Or is this a way for google to sell more chromecast ultra's by just waiting until people with a defect one are just so tired of waiting they just order a new chromecast ultra.
