Hey guys,
I've been having worsening issues with my stadia gaming. before having these issues I really loved playing! now, I can't even play for more than 45 seconds before the game totally boots me. It started when it would just lock in and input and freeze me out of the game and I would watch myself die then I reset everything, hard resets. Reset the router, the Wi-Fi modem, reconnected everything to the Wi-Fi including controller and Chromecast. I've tried rebooting the Chromecast, I've tried different HDMI ports. The only thing I haven't tried is to hardwire the Chromecast which I'm trying to avoid. I'm just getting totally booted off of every game and I'm getting really disappointed. Any help?
@JcSaltyballs Just to confirm, this is an issue with Stadia disconnecting rather than the Chromecast itself rebooting or anything like that, correct?
Does Stadia work fine in Chrome?
I know you say you're really trying to avoid hardwiring the Chromecast but that would honestly be my #1 suggestion for any problems gaming on the Chromecast. Google strongly recommends using a wired connection, and I've seen that resolve problems faced by quite a few users. It would be really great if you could at least try running a cable across the floor to the Chromecast as a test to help rule out any WiFi signal issues.
