Chromecast Ultra has some requirements to work with 4K streams.

Did you test a Netflix 4K stream?

Found a topic on Reddit about a SamSung monitor with a Chromecast Ultra but that one seems to be missing this:

An HDMI port that supports both HDCP 2.2 and 60 frames per second (60 FPS). Note: If you're using an AVR or soundbar, those will also need to support HDCP 2.2

Some monitors have multiple HDMI slots in the back, but they aren't all the same, especially some older monitors. My monitor has a Display Port and 1 HDMI that is HDCP 2.0+ compatible, and 2 other HDMI slots which aren't compatible. I had the same issue, and swapped it to the other HDMI port and was able to get 4K on the chromecast ultra. Usually the best HDMI slot is the first 1, or has a label on it signifying its different.

One HDMI port on my curved monitor is HDCP 2.0+ compatible, but the other two aren't
