1440p not supported on CCU?

Support rolled out for 1440p resolution yesterday and I got it working on my pixelbook 2017 connected to my monitor, but the my CCU is still only displaying at 1080p. The tweet wasn't specific about this being chrome or CCU specific thing. Is 1440p support on CCU?

I don't think Chromecast supports a 1440p video mode.  It's designed to be used with "TV"s which you'll generally not see 1440p support on.   I don't think there is any way to do this right now, but who knows, they may be working on adding 1440p support to Chromecast right now.
