Hello,
when I was in the menu and outside of the game, I had to use the DPad. Have you tried launching a game with the mouse and then try the controller? This is what I did for Destiny 2 and it worked.

The controller doesn't work in the UI, but kind of works in the game. I have my wired xbox 360 controller connected and it kind of works in games. I just posted the problem I am having with the controller in the game. That controller icon gives me the same message as well, but works partially in game.
@Borvish : I'm not having any major issues with using a wireless XBox 360 Controller in conjunction with a XBox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows running on Windows 10.
But for the initial landing page and that navigation in the UI is pretty much limited to the D-Button and the A button, and anything else beyond that is impossible, once a game loads up e.g. Destiny 2, then I have no issues running the game and have yet to find any limitations with this configuration.
Screenshots and clips need to be triggered via a keyboard as there is no suitable key assigned to the XBox 360 controller, likewise exiting a game relies on using the keyboard too, but in the grand scheme of things not a major issue at this point as far as I can see.
Similar issue. Win 10 fully up to date, Latest Chrome. Cannot get the game to recognise an old Xbox 360 controller USB - wired. It does appear in the Control panel but using the 'xbox' button does nothing. All 4 quadrants just keep flashing.
Any suggestions?
