hi can someone please help?
My Chromebook doesn't have anymore updates to download, but the issue i'm having is when i'm going to load games on Stadia i keep getting the help message to update Chromebook..
Not really too sure on how to solve this problem as my laptop isn't providing anymore updates, hopefully i'm not the only one that has had this issue..
Also have speed checked my laptop too and that's all up to date.
Yeah, that's the downside of chromebooks. I don't know how old your chromebook is, but software/OS updates for a chromebook are time limited. After a few years you won't get any updates. That includes the Chrome browser.
So if you run into the software update end before getting a chrome version that supports Stadia then there's not a lot you can do. Unless you fancy installing a new OS on it, like Ubuntu.
It seem though Google is working on a solution for this:
I don't know what happened with that project since that article was written. And can only speculate what effect it will or won't have on existing/older chromebooks though.
Edit: I googled a bit and found this:

Also, if you have enabled Linux support in your chromebook settings you should be able to install a linux browser like the Brave browser and use stadia from that.
