Hi guys
On a chromebook does anyone know how to increase the volume whilst playing the game. I press the buttons on the top of the keyboard and they do nothing and on the controller i can only change the volume for chat. I have to keep minimising the screen then increasing the volume and then maximise again, which is rather irritating.
thanks
I just tried it to make sure, but using the media keys (volume up/down) on the office laptop I'm using right now while in game does control the system volume as I expected while in game. While using Chrome, the only volume that controls Stadia is the system volume so anything that would normally adjust it should work fine.
If you use Shift+Tab while in game, you can get access to a slider for voice chat volume there.
nope does not seem to work, hence why i wrote this post lol.
@PhantomChris I've found that I sometimes need to hold the Stadia button (or ESC key) to get to the "Exit Game" menu before my Pixelbook's hardware volume buttons seem to register. Once I've adjusted the volume I can return to the game.
Maybe that will work for you?
Keyboard keys don't work (I'm assuming they become f keys) but my slate volume rocker works. Or if you press the app switcher button, or 3 finger swipe up in laptop mode or swipe down from the top in tablet mode it enables the keyboard keys again.
