hi all
In January, everything was great, but in February, I see a warning about the stability of the Internet. However, speed measurements show good results. The result of executing the command "tcpdump -i br-lan -v src portrange 44700-44899" during the game showed a connection to the stadia server 164.43.113.136.bc.googleusercontent.com, which, according to the geo data, is located in the USA.
while I'm playing from Germany. Amazing work of the balancer ![]()
Hello @friday13
IP geolocation for servers is not going to be very accurate, especially in the case of Stadia. Google's network architecture is designed to get traffic off of the ISP's network as quickly as possible and on to Google's private network to minimize latency. That address space may all appear to be geolocated in the U.S., no matter where the machines are actually physically located.
I would focus on diagnosing something like this one step at a time. Start with your local network. Once you're positive it is highly reliable and performing as expected, look at your internet connection, then see if your internet service provider may be having issues with their own network (that's going to be harder to investigate, but some careful speed testing to servers that you are sure aren't inside your ISP's network may be useful). Some ISPs have been known to throttle Stadia traffic in the past, but that's something you'd want to be sure is happening before moving further.
