Hi, I've been using an xbox one wired controller with controlstadia extension fine until now. Then Chrome asked me to update and now the controller works for a couple of minutes and then stops. Any ideas?
Hi @pandainthepost,
I've noticed that sometimes when Chrome does an update, third party extensions tend to break until the developer updates the extension. Maybe this is causing your controller to stop working? Also, have you had any changes to your wifi network? I've also seen that cause similar issues.
Hope this helps!
Hello @pandainthepost,
As @MrVacca noticed a Chrome update could cause some plugin issue.
This plugin is not supported by Stadia I am afraid.
If I check out the GitHub website of this extension it hasn't been updated since January this year, best thing is to post your issue on this GitHub forum.
Just curious why you are using this plugin as the Xbox One controller is supported by Stadia without a extension or such.
To check if it has something to do with the plugin you can try running a Chrome Incognito Window, if everything goes well then it probably the plugin causing this issue.
Hope you can figure it out. ![]()
@RXShorty I'm using Linux / Ubuntu, which doesn't seem to recognize a wired Xbox one controller through chrome / stadia. What I did to fix was to grab an updated version of Chromium with control stadia and it works now.
