Hi everyone,
I signed up for the Month free to Stadia because its the only place you can play the new Orcs Must Die game (HUGE fan!)
I played it on the night I joined for maybe a couple of hours and was very impressed with the stability and stream rate; no issues whatsoever.
Since then, however, I have hit stutter after stutter.
I have an extremely powerful PC. I am hard-wired to my router and have a super-fast internet connection.
I have looked this issue up and the advice for fixing is always 'hard-wire' to router, 'run in incognito window', 'make sure nothing else is playing, or downloading in the house' etc.
I have covered everything in the help list, the stuttering remains.
Anyone have any radical suggestions?
If not, then I will just wait until Orcs 3 leaves Stadia and I can download it.
Thanks in advance,
Art
@Arterus Do you have the issues with other games like Destiny 2 (free to play)
Or are you playing Endless mode? There are some bugs within OMD3 with endless.
Hey @Arterus
With the browser extension Stadia + and the included Network Manager you can see whether it is due to your internet connection or PC or to Stadia, because as @RXShorty RXShorty said it is probably due to the level or the endless mode
If you have no packet loss and a good ping but THE FPS go down, it is up to Stadia or the game

The extension doesn't work for me, I just get a blank window when opening it.
But my machine is freshly installed (its a new PC) and everything else works exceptionally well. I don't suffer with any other system or game.
Today I played Orcs Must Die again and the connection was exceptional, no drop in quality, no stuttering, no issues whatsoever and I played a fair few hours.
I have no idea why it would fluctuate like this.
If I ever find a solution or reason I will be sure to let the post know.

@Arterus if Stadia+ doesn't work you try Stadia Enhanced. Uninstall Stadia+ first. Please not that both plugins are unofficial.
