Stadia poor Performance unplayable on PC

On my windows 8 System ( i7, 12 Gb Ram, Dual graphic intel/nvidea, Lan) i do not become a mouse free conection. I tried: -start chrome in w7 mode - reset flags - disable Hardware flag, to fix the black Screen error - use incognito mode - changed between Intel and nvidea card - use chrome beta With this changes the performance is not so extremly bad like the Stadia App. But still unplayable. And the reason is not my Internet conection, wirh chromecast ultra over wlan it works well.

Can't help you unfortunatly. But I can state that the problem might be in your pc or configuration, with my PC everythings works great.

Have you tried with another pc (may be a freind notebook) if you get the same problems ?

My PC is acting pretty much the same......HP Omen gaming PC....I believe it to be my home network. Chromecast ultra is hard wired and is virtually flawless. PC is hard wired in through a home plug and then Netgear router. PC and Xbox is solid through this but Status on Chrome, Canary and incognito both gets a good connection but then freezes and pixelates out..... Haven't tried straight from home plug though... Appears to be connection fluctuating.. Supposed to have a high connection download and upload that should give me excellent stairs connection.

@Meattie Try disabling hardware acceleration in Chrome (or enabling it if it is disabled). I was in a pretty similar state as you for a while until I disabled it. All games were giving me random connection errors and I was sometimes getting kicked out. Destiny 2 had muted colors and it was sometimes a little blurry. After I disabled Hardware Acceleration on my relatively high end system I no longer get connection error messages and the visuals are objectively better.

To disable hardware acceleration go to the settings of Chrome and search for Use hardware acceleration when available. Then toggle it off and restart the browser. Some people have reported that they needed to enable it if it was already off so toggle it on and restart the browser if that is the case.

Stadia in the browser when from frustrating to rather good with that one setting for me. My build is a Ryzen 7 3800X with an RTX 2070 so I blew off recommendations to hardware acceleration at first.

In the Discord Channel someone suggested turning location services off. Looks like it helped some people even tough no one knows why this helps sometimes. I had no time to test it for myself. But maybe give it a try.

I have to try for myself when i got enough free time. Till now i got the same problem with performance on two of my machines (Win,Linux, both wired_100mit) and a friends machine(Win,wired_250mbit).

Does changing "Data usage & performance" to "Limited data usage" help you? It seems that some clients can't decode the stream in higher res fast enough, giving you input lag, but it works fine in 720p.
