Hi,
My PC laptop has packed up and I'm trying to play Stadia on a mid-2009 MB Pro that I've dusted off with no joy, massive lag so unplayable. Will upgrading the Ram make a difference or am I wasting my time?
Specs below, any help from people more mac literate than I would be much appreciated.
Thanks

@Phelv Another Mac user found that disabling location services improved the experience significantly. Maybe give that a shot and see if it helps you as well?

@codesplice thanks for your prompt response, I gave this a go but unfortunately didn't make a difference, I was crashing in Grid before I'd left the start line!
I fear this machine just may be too old to keep up, not good during isolation!
Cheers
Hello @Phelv,
I think could be related with the RAM, I play in a similar machine (with double of RAM and an SSD) and Intel Graphics 5500 and games like Gylt, Dig 2 run smooth but with few tricks:
- HDR is ON
- Quality is Balanced or Slow (since last week always is Balanced)
- No other stuff on the Browser, No Extensions no Flags no nothing just pure Chrome with location enabled (this is important).
NOTE: I didn't test games like Destiny 2 I think won't run as expected.
Cheers,
Dema.
I have a MacBook Pro 2011 and found that you have to run stadia on low settings (720p) otherwise I experience the same issues as you, the game is just unplayable
