Any idea on how to fix this, by the way this only happens to my Chromebook, not on my phone.

Hello @CrazierPotato,

Did you try to run Stadia in a Chrome incognito window?
And how are you connected with your Chromebook? Are using a 2.4GHz network or a 5GHz network?
If possible try connecting to a 5GHz WiFi network. :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hello @CrazierPotato,

Grateful to have you here in the community. And we appreciate @RXShorty for their help so far on this post. I'm so sorry that you are having this issue playing Stadia on your Chromebook. I know how frustrating this must be. I did want to ask a couple of questions just to make sure we are on the same page.

  • When did this issue start for you, or have you always had this problem on your Chromebook?
  • Were you able to test your other network connections? 2.4 GHz vs the 5 GHz?

Lastly, were you able to check out this article? It goes over all of the ways to help Troubleshot your Stadia experience? You'll want to scroll down to the Troubleshoot device issues and then check out the drop down section titled Computer with Google Chrome.

Please let us know how everything goes. We are here to help.

Thank you,

James

Well it always happened to my Chromebook, and I am using a 2.4 GHz WiFi with a download speed of 34.67 Mbps.

Hi again @CrazierPotato,

I have a couple additional questions to see if we can narrow down what is happening.

  • Have you always had this issue with your Chromebook? Or is this something that started happening more recently?
  • Does this happen with every single game you've played?

Something you can try, would be to change which OS your Chromebook is using. Please note, that Stadia is officially supported on the Stable version, but some users have been able to resolve certain issues by switching over to the Beta.

Keep us posted on how everything goes.

Best,

James
