Hi,
I have been playing Destiny 2 with Stadia on PC with chrome browser. My internet connexion is wired and runs at 1Gbps up and down. As soon as I accept a party invitation on stadia, it crashes and i get the screen
Aw, snap!
Something went wrong while displaying this webpage.
It then keeps doing that for multiples minutes.
I tried the following:
Nothing works.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
What antivirus if any are you running?
@Dzew You are not the first one reporting this issue lad however it is my belief it should be communicated to Bungie since it's probably game related.
Have you tried to invite friends in another game?
@Northlight, I doubt the problem is on the Bungie side, it only crashes when he tries to join a Stadia voice party. He can join in-game Destiny parties without any issue.
But thanks for trying to help!
@Weruid I read to fast but the need for troubleshooting remain the same.
The "Aw, Snap!" message suggests that this is an issue with your Chrome browser and not with Stadia. This is most likely caused by an extension, a corrupted browser profile or some interference from your OS.
Try this:
-create a new user on your OS
-install Chrome (and nothing else) but do NOT log into your Google account with your browser
-go to the Stadia website and log in (not the browser Google account, just Stadia)
I create a new user on my OS, installed chrome, went to stadia.com and did the sign in there. Once signed in, I got a pop up to allow acces to my microphone. I clicked allow and boom "Aw,Snap!" message again.
No extension were installed or anything.
I managed to get stadia working on a old laptop I have. But i would really want to fix it and run it on my main desktop where I always game.
Just a shot in a dark here have you tried a different headset/mic?
I agree with @Valynor it does seems like a firewall/Antivirus issue.
+1 to this issue! Please help my buddy solve his problem!
We need our sixth player for the raid in Destiny!
