Please for the love of Google, INCREASE THE BITRATE. So many problems, streaming/compression artefacts, color banding etc could be avoided if the bitrate just went higher. I know some people want to save data, but for all of us with unlimited amounts of it it would be so much better to have it as an option at least. I want all the bits at all times, not drops to just 1-2 mbps because the game thinks im in an unteresting area and the result is a muddy blurry gray screen of no detail whatsoever in Cyberpunk. We shouldn't have to pay for 4k access just to get a somewhat close to decent setting in 1080p...
Who's with me?
Hmm.. I have blurry picture only when my resolution is at 1080p. Are you sure you're actually using 4K resolution? Does your system support 4K and VP9 encoding?
If you're using 4K picture with VP9 encoding, and your internet connection speed is what's recommended for 4K, there should be no issues with the picture so most likely some of those is failing.
I'm going to assume you didn't read any of what I posted. Yes I've used extensions to force VP9 and 4k, yes my system and network is way above recommended. The problem is how stadia handles gaming over chrome, and no it's not a user issue it's a platform issue. Remember this isn't the CCU part of the community. Cyberpunk (and some other games) run horribly on Chrome
Good night,
The problem with increasing the bit rate is that you need more bandwidth to be able to enjoy the service.
Actually instability problems tend to occur with connections with poor stability or quality and it has not so much to do with the upload or download bandwidth of your company. But rather with the company itself.
It is true that some games that have come to Google Stadia are better than others in terms of porting. Example Doom Eternal.
The problem of the bit rate that is a function of the resolution and in a band as the case of YouTube.
You should clarify if you mean a 4G or 5G mobile network or a fixed network.
For example, in Spain where I live, I have unlimited symmetric 1GB with Movistar and I play very well. I play to 4K
Can you specify?
All the best
