I am currently running Stadia on Chrome on a 2015 Macbook Pro (Retina). It looks fantastic on the laptop display with no pixilation or distortion. When I connect to an external display via HDMI, streamed games become blurry and pixilated. When games are run locally on the machine, there are no display quality issues; graphics are clear and crisp and rendering integrity is maintained. However when I stream games on stadia utilizing the external display, they are blurry and pixilated. I have changed out the HDMI cable and tried all available refresh rates according to manufacturer spec, with no success. With regard to the laptop and display, I am running the display only, with the laptop lid shut.
Any recommendations would be helpful.
Hi @QuiJahn
did you disable the location service as suggested in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Stadia/comments/e5m2jf/macbook_chrome_browser/?
I had the same issue and this fixed it for me. (But I never played directly on the MacBook's display)
@Tobonaut I'm running on a Windows partition.
