Hello. Has anyone been experiencing high packet loss on Stadia lately?
Until 4 days ago, I was able to play up to 4K resolution almost flawlessly. I have the exact same hard-wired set up, but now I cannot go 15 seconds without seeing visual and audio skips.
I saw ~5% packet loss a minute during my latest run (this morning), which makes it pretty much unplayable for me.
Browser: Chrome v88.0.4324.150 (Official Build) (64-bit) - no change in flags
Extension: Stadia Enhanced - also tried with the extension disabled as well as incognito - no change
Internet: 1 Gbps over coax (Comcast - US East Coast). I usually get solid 800+ Mbps down and 40+ Mbps up - no change in cabling or hardware
OS: GNU/Linux 5.8.0-7642-generic - a few updates since, but nothing major
Ping: <15 ms to stadia.google.com
Account: Stadia Pro
Outside of Stadia, I'm seeing my usual speeds with streaming and downloading. I did all the first step common sense troubleshooting, but no luck.
Any suggestion is welcomed. Thanks!
Hi @Turk,
Did you check the stats with Stadia Enhanced? Stream Monitor can give you some extra information about the drops etc.
Not sure how to help with that but maybe the extra information is handy for your ISP or your home config.
