Playing via MS Edge. Using Stadia Controller, Pixel Buds 2 for audio in/out.
When I load up a game, I hear the game and system audio fine. When I turn on YouTube livestreaming, after moment, audio on my end is cut, but my viewers can hear both game audio and microphone. This doesn't happen when I play normally. Testing via Audacity, my system is capturing audio correctly, as well as playing it back.
I tried exploring Edge's flags to see if there was an audio/video toggle I needed to check, or my permissions to see if something also needed changing. Inconclusive. I can't and won't use standard Chrome because it's a little less responsive (separate issue: Chrome slows to a crawl for several minutes before becoming usuable, only to slow down again later; pursuing troubleshooting of that elsewhere). I haven't experimented with Chromium yet..
Currently using a Lenovo Ideapad 110 with a whopping FOUR GB of RAM. I'm aware my hardware limitations may also be a contributing factor.
(I suppose I could enable the livestream and play via CCU, but then I'd have to use wired audio via the controller, or try via mobile. So, there are workable solutions, at least.)
Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi @Dice_for_Death_, have you had a chance to experiment with alternate browsers yet? My guess is that this is a hardware limitation, but I cannot be sure without additional information.
