No surround 5.1 output on Chrome OS

I've connected a 5.1 capable soundcard through USB on my laptop running Chrome OS. I've tested it and it actually does work using this test site: https://www2.iis.fraunhofer.de/AAC/multichannel.html but Stadia says 5.1 isn't supported. Anyone found a fix for this?

How do you have the soundcard connected to your speakers/audio system?  If it's connected via optical to your audio equipment, it's not going to work with Stadia because Stadia uses multichannel PCM output only, which optical can't support.

Also, I assume you have an active Stadia Pro subscription?

I'm using an external USB 7.1 card. And yes I have a pro sub.

So you have multiple 3.5mm outputs connected?  For example one cable for Front L/R, another for rear L/R, etc.?

Are you using Windows?  It should work if you have windows properly set to use 5.1 channels (In Windows 10, this is in the right click menu of the speaker/volume icon under Speaker Setup).  If you have it set to 7.1 try setting it to 5.1.

Yes I have several 3.5 mm connectors connected. And yes it works on Windows 10. As stated in the Subject I'm having trouble getting it to work on Chrome OS.
