Hello,
I have 3 Screens attached to my Windows 11. All 3 screens are the same, so same resolution etc. When I have all 3 screens active and play on one screen using a Chrome browser, the input Lag is increased. When I turn off the other 2 screens (Windows-Settings --> Disconnect Screen), the input-Lag is much better (lower, almost zero).
Is there any option to have like a dedicated App for playing Google Stadia instead of the regular web-browser? There seems to be some stupid effects with the Chrome Browser running in Fullscreen instead of a native App (like with Geforce Now where you get a dedicated App that will properly "catch" your inputs and sends them correctly to the server instead of your regular web-browser).
TL;DR: To play Stadia "lag-free", I have to turn off my additional screens, even if the screens are not showing / running anything else.
I would love to see a dedicated App for Windows that will behave like a regular app so the advanced features like HDR could also be used (which seams not to work with the browser-version).
In windows 10 I have not found that problem, I even use it together with OBS on the other screen. You can try using another browser, deactivating special functions that Windows 11 has in this regard or I don't know if there is the Win+P shortcut as in Windows 10 for faster screen management.
The Edge browser should also run Stadia I suppose and it would be good if you tried it.
Is the input lag from a Stadia controller using Wi-Fi or from another type of controller? If it is a controller that is not the Stadia controller, try connecting it from your mobile.

Personally, I simply have a Stadia shortcut "installed" so that it runs in a separate and cleaner browser than the one I usually use, in my case, Stadia Beta. With this, it even allows me to have it configured so that it uses the integrated graphics with that specific application/browser, which gives me much better performance than my dedicated one in the case of Stadia.
Another curious case could also be that you have monitors connected to a direct input to the board instead of the specific ones of the graphic, which can also generate some conflict or strange performance issues.
Hi @pate1 -
While I don't have any tricks - I wouldn't be surprised if some of our epic PEs know of a workaround. In case they don't - I highly suggest using the feedback feature inside stadia to let the dev team know of this feature request. If you open stadia, click on your avatar, you'll then see the option for feedback. The more people that do this, the higher chance it will move up onto their priority list.
Best of luck!
