Whenever I play any games on my Chromebook, I can play games just fine (Destiny 2, Terraria, PUBG, etc.) but whenever I try and use my mouse it is increasing my sensitivity twofold. I am not sure what would change anything with this but if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
@DecentRug03 It might just be your mouse has a high DPI, so your mouse feels more sensitive. I don't have my Chromebook right now so can't really test, but what you want to do is decrease your mouse DPI. Disabling mouse/hardware acceleration usually helps as well
I can't find official documentation to do this, but you can try the steps from the following article I found:
https://www.technewstoday.com/how-to-change-mouse-dpi/
Like macOS and Windows, Chrome OS uses a slider to adjust pointer speed instead of a proper DPI measurement.
You can also enable or disable mouse acceleration – which is pointer precision – in this area by toggling it on or off.
Turning off hardware acceleration:

Can you give it a shot and see if it helps?
I already have the mouse settings adjusted in my Chromebook settings. The mouse sensitivity is working perfectly most of the time but is only functioning improperly in stadia, specifically while in a game.
@DecentRug03 Which mouse are you using? Do you have any other mouse you can try? I understand you mention that the mouse is usually working fine, but just curious if certain mouse just doesn't work well with Stadia, so it would be good if you can try with other mouse and see if we can identify the root cause.
Also is the issue happening with all games you play on Stadia?
It's happening with my touchpad and my mouse so I assume its some sort of system issue. Im using the corsair m65 RGB elite if it helps. It is happening with all games on stadia, but anytime I shift+tab it goes back to normal.
@DecentRug03 So once you shift+tab the mouse goes back to normal? Does it happen again after a while or you basically need to do to shift+tab once to fix it? If that's the case, that does sound like a bug and would be a good feedback to the Stadia team. You can submit feedback through the app.
Hey @DecentRug03,
Did you see @Ivan's most recent post? Let us know if you were able to dive a bit deeper into the issue you are having? Let us know if you have any follow up questions or comments.
Thank you,

Hi James,
I went ahead and submitted feedback through the Stadia app. I've not been able to find any other instances of this happening, but it may have happened to others. I can try other devices or try changing my mouse sensitivity to see what changes that brings. Thanks!
Thanks for submitting feedback! Keep us posted if you have any additional updates.
Best,
James
