Hi, my Macbook pro gets very hot, it's very hot when I use Stadia on Chrome. Do you have this problem on other devices? I think I have to buy another computer for this. Windows computer or Chromebook? Thank you.
I think it’s because it uses VP9 codec and as MacOS doesn’t support VP9 hardware decoding you CPU does all the work using software decoding and that’s why it’s always under 100% load. Try installing Stadia+ extension for Chrome and through it forcing h264 codec that is native for Apple.
