I have been playing CP77 for days on my PC in 4k when my internet connection is fast enough. Loving it. Today when I started it up, Stadia is saying my device doesn't support 4k. I looked in chrome://gpu and it indicates it does support VP9 compression in 4k resolution,
| Decode vp9 profile0 | 64x64 to 8192x8192 pixels |
| Decode vp9 profile2 | 64x64 to 8192x8192 pixels |
Anyone had this happen? Any tricks to make Stadia see (again) that my PC supports 4k?
Does it help maybe when you pop out your monitor cables and then put them in again?
As far as I understand, it's important that your monitors are able to play 4K.
Apart from that you can also find some more steps to try in this article. You can also try some browser TS steps like deleting cache & cookies and see if that fixes the issue. Otherwise I would recommend to contact Stadia support in this specific case.

Thanks! Deleting cookies helped me when it says I'm using an unsupported device.
I do find it weird it can take a min or 2 to actually 'buffer' up to 4k citing network issues but once it's there it never falters, it's a bit odd but I can live with it.
You always use a unofficial plugin which forces the resolution like Stadia Enhanced.
