My internet is average 20-30Mbps download & upload (it should be 100+ but that's an entirely different matter). I have cleared cache and such from Chrome, yet I still get a blurry video. I changed to Edge and it works with the occassional visual skip and lag. Surely even with 20-30mpbs I should be able to play games with little to no issue? I'm also connected to a wired network, not directly to the router though, and the distance of the router isn't an issue as some days I do manage to get 100+ mpbs. Any help would be extremely appreciated. :3
Oh, why not? I can use the internet without it, but I thought it would give me better internet speeds, therefore boosting the experience of Stadia.
Hello @crusty,
Could you check the you connectivity on https://projectstream.google.com/speedtest
The quality of your internet is maybe even more important than the bandwith.
Ethernet cable should be good but are you using a Mesh system?
Maybe the mesh is not stable enought to get Stadia running in good fashion.
Could your provide some more information about the hardware you are using? ![]()
I'm using a HP Pavilion Notebook hooked up to a D-Link powerline adapter by an ethernet cable. The speed test you sent me gave me "Your connection is good." and I got 26.481 Mbps.
Hello @crusty,
Ok... I am sorry to say but using a powerline adapter is not optimal for Stadia gaming.
Is there a way you can try your internet without using a powerline adapter?
Just to check if your internet connection is stable enough.
