CCU on the TV works a charm, but I'm getting more than a little frustrated at the poor performance on Chrome. I'm using a new MacBook Pro (2019, Intel Core i9, 16Gb DDR4 RAM) and the WiFi is solid, currently measuring 40mbps download. Yet gameplay is still laggy. I haven't tried a wired connection, but surely the point of Stadia is to be able to play anywhere... If anyone has any tips, do share. I've tried the standard list of reseting Chrome Flags, Incognito mode, Chrome Canary etc. Also tried lowering the performance in the Stadia app to the lowest settings and still no joy...
I was a Founder member and have retained my membership since the monthly charges, but I'm not sure I'm getting the service i ought to be TBH
Same issues here. I'll get a chrome cast ultra and a controller and see how it performs there.
I'm on a 2013 macbook pro, I'd rarely choose to play on the mac but everything from the controller connection to gameplay has been difficult. I'm hoping the recent news regarding Safari adding Stadia controller support is a step in the right direction.
As with most people, it runs absolutely perfect on Chromecast by comparison.
