I've been experiencing this for a while now, for both Chrome and the Chrome desktop app for Stadia.
I get crashes at random times during gameplay at any game I play (so far it's happened during Doom, Marvel's Avengers, Destiny 2, Fifa 22).
I am not doing anything in particular when it happens and I have stable internet connection (90/90mbps) on cable.
My Google Chrome is clean since I don't use it for anything but Stadia.
Recently reset Windows 10 as well, so no way it's from a bad install.
Hello @splitcondition,
What do you mean with games that are crashing?
Does the Stadia stream stop or do you get there is a glitch message and when you start the game again it starts from the beginning.
Normally if Chrome crashes or such you can restart Chrome and start your game again and it should continue where you left off.
It is rather strange if all games games really crash. ![]()
Games just close and I go back to the Stadia home page, as if I had exited the game. No error message.
I ran into that issue a couple times over the weekend, but it seemed to have sorted itself out as of yesterday. My guess it was just a hiccup in the server? It only was happening to Ubisoft games though, not everything I played. Hopefully it's fixed for you as well @splitcondition
Hi @splitcondition,
Are you able to check if you have the same issues when playing on a other device that uses your internet connection?
For example a smartphone or laptop?
Maybe it is related to your internet. ![]()
Hi @splitcondition,
Just wanted to check back in with you. Were you able to see the previous replies from our wonderful Stadia Guides like @RXShorty and @MrVacca? Let us know if you still need help at all. If not, we'll go ahead and lock this topic in another 24 hrs or so.
Thank you,
James
