Hey. As you can see in the video below, the game lags whenever I´m moving the mouse/controller. I´ve tried all the troubleshooting steps, but it does not work. Can you please help me, because the games are unplayable. Also, this has lasted for a couple days. https://imgur.com/a/phGdJss
Hi @Christio02, sorry to hear you're having troubles. This sounds like it might be something related to your home network experiencing disturbances or disruptions. Some basic things to try:
The biggest factor affecting the quality of your stream is the stability, not the speed, so ensuring that your connection is not dropping packets should be your top priority. Hope this helps!
Hiya @Christio02,
Looks like it has something to do with your mouse setup. ![]()
There are reports people solve these issues by changing the polling rate of your mouse.
Check THIS topic for example.
Please check if this fixes your issues.
It did not work. The same problem happens when I´m using a controller.
Hi @Christio02
Hmm did you try starting Stadia.com with a Chrome Incognito window?
Are you using WiFi 5 GHz or a cable?
Could you provide some more information about the situation to help you with troubleshooting. ![]()
I´m using Stadia with ethernet cable to the a gigabit switch and then into the nest WIFI router. I tried incognito, but it didn´t work. It worked fine last week, but suddenly started stutter on Friday the 16th. I´ve tried restarting my pc, it also didn´t work.
I also have 300 mbps down, wired.
Does it make any difference if you play in 720p?
Oh and if you capture video server side. Does it behave the same as it does locally? If it does then you've been matched up with a bad server instance ot some other problem on googles side (Report it in Stadia). If not the then it is probably something local to you.
I tried 720p and it also happens locally. Though slightly better with controller, but the screen stutters sometimes with controller too.
Don't know how to read your reply. Just to clarify, does the jerkiness happen when you capture a video sequence on the server side? Use the stadia built in feature to capture a short video sequence on the server side and then watch it to see if it has the same stuttering.
