I have played mainly on my TV in 4K through my Chromecast and with controller. And just showed Stadia briefly for colleges at work in 1080. But yesterday I was about to play with friends on my computer, and I had graphics like a video clip from far back before the pre-youtube era. I have a 1440p monitor and my internet speed is 100+ Mbit/s both ways. And the computer is connected by cable. I got warnings, ingame, about my connection was to slow, but when I tested the speed (the one stadia refers to) the speed was 100+ as mentioned above. I also checked all the tips and tricks in the stadia faq, but I can't still figure out what's wrong.
I run windows 10 professional.
I think that turning off the hardware acceleration in Chrome might have fixed my problem! ![]()
Have the same experience. Works flawlessly on chromecast but completely unplayable via chrome. It’s a shame since a prefer FPS games with mouse and keyboard.. have tried every fix there is but never even close to the Chromecast experience ![]()
Same here. Samma här. A reload after a minute or two made it work for me.
I tried to reload it several times. Rebooted the computer as wel, but I didn't get it to work properly.
The same issue here. When I tried playing on my laptop the connection was very unstable. That's why I play Stadia on my Galaxy s10e connected to qled q70 with a USB C->HDMI cable (unfortunately no HDR with such connection) plus Xbox One wireless controller.
Wait is this on the same connection or are you trying at different locations? Anything out of a college is going to get automatically throttled if you try to steam in 4K, maybe even just 1080.
It isn't necessarily throttled.
Has the Stadia+ extension been tried? Is it a Mac or PC or Chromebook?
Here's a helpful graphic.
