Disabling frame lock, how?

Jump to Best Response

I'm currently playing Far Cry 5, everything's fine, but unfortunately you can see that the game is locked at 30 caltas per second. And it makes the game quite poor. Can you get around it somehow? I used command: --disable-frame-rate-limit
but that doesn't work anymore, the browser seems to freeze. Only the command: --disable-gpu-vsync because the game has less input lag.

Google Stadia could really do something about it, add some solution, option, whatever ...

Games are capped at either 30 or 60 fps, since anythibg in between would look awful, since the stream is always 60fps. For example, if you were running at 40 fps, you'd get 2 different images for every 3 frames received. One image would be on your screen longer than the other. Therefore, if a game isn't optimized enough to run at a stable 60 fps, it will be capped at 30 to prevent this from happening.
