Hello community,
I have a problem for which I don't know the solution to. Maybe you can help me?
Cyberpunk has blurry graphics on my Laptop (tried it on several PCs with different networks) no matter which browser I use. The image looks "filthy" and it simply isn't nice to look at.
On my Chromecast Ultra I don't have this issue. There, everything looks fine and crispy.
Here are some extra informations: 100 mbit/s connection, LAN, using Stadia Controller, mainly using Edge browser but also tried it with Chrome, no Edge add-ons, I am using Stadia as dedicated app on Windows 10, no issues with other games I am playing, besides the blurry details the game has no other problems (except for the usual Cyperpunk bugs), no pro subscription (don't need 4k), tried it on 1080p laptopscreen and on 1440p screen, no extra monitor
I am hoping for a solution so I can enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 on my PC just as much as I can on my TV. ![]()
PS: If you have the same issue don't forget to give this post a thumb up so hopefully more people see it.
Thank you for reading,
kind regards.
Edit:
Before, I talked about another problem. I changed the subject from this post from "Generally blurry games" to "Only Cyberpunk is affected".
Can confirm. Not 100%. More over it can still get worse during the game at some point.
Incognito mode doesn't work for me, have tried every way possible to fix this. Nothing works, help me ![]()
What's your graphical card ? I'm using a GeForce 970
i have to notice after the 1.04 patch the situation is improved, not perfect like ccu but surely improved. hope in more fix with new patches
Doesn't work for me neither
Finally I've resolved the blurry problem.
1 - You have to download "stadia enhanced" plugin for Chrome.
2 - go to stadia web page
3 - on the right top, near pad icon, click on arrow down.
4 - select on "stream" option 2160p (4k)
enjoy Cyberpunk with no blurry ![]()
Seems helpful. But unfortunately, I don't have a pro subscription. That means that I can't do that (already tried it).
I've tried this solution yesterday but it ends in the same blurry result.
Have you installed Stadia app?
in-game click TAB + SHIFT and enable stats. Have you VP9 and 4k resolution?
Thanks, this also works for me with Stadia Enhanced - much better quality now, however now it is lagging very much although 1Gbit/s Fiber - guessing servers are probably under heavy load as well...?
not working for me.
Perfect for me.
VP9...
thanks, it really worked!
Update since my last post..
I can confirm 100% the issue resides within chrome. I have just received my Chrome cast today (part of the cyber punk preorder deal), running the game on here makes an Insane difference.. I think Google need to create a real app for PC as the chrome browser does not quite cut it.
I know there's an option to download it from the stadia site, but it's still a chrome based version.. They need to just release a Windows/Mac app.
Currently playing on a 4k TV and the graphics are crazy good!
i played around with the nvidia settings for chrome and installed stadia enhanced and both seem to fix the issue.
my graphics are ok now and a lot less blurry, especially invertory is crisp.
its just an issue with chrome not the game itself
I have the same problem, I can't ever read the red text in my inventory. I have a wired connection to my PC, using Chrome (Stadia says Chrome is the recommended browser) connected to a 1080p screen (I don't need 4K, so when I see suggestions that I should force the 4K it doesn't make sense to me. I'm suppose to pay 10$/month to force graphics that I can't use to be able to get 1080p?). My internet connection if fast enough (30Mb/s) for 1080p.
I did the troubleshooting without success. I've tried turning off all 4 graphic options in settings, tried Visuals instead of Performance, doesn't make a difference.
I see a lot of people have the same issues on Stadia but Stadia remain silent, which is very frustrating. They're gonna loose a lot of potential new customers who tried Stadia for the first time with Cyberpunk.
I suggest everyone does what the Stadia Guide said: contact Stadia Support, maybe if they are flooded with unhappy customers having blurry graphics they will react.
I still have to test incognito mode...
Same here.
I have a 1440p monitor and on chrome( wired 100mbps) the game is terrible, I tried the game with the same configuration but using a pro subscription and it looks fantastic, why is the quality so different beetween pro and non pro?
I hope the ccu works fine even in 1080p.
I contacted the support last thursday. He told me an expert will review my issue and contact me. Until now nothing happened...
Also I didnt receive the mail for the free chrome cast ultra yet...
I will wait 1 more day and then refund the game.
It's fixed now with the latest update.
Nope. The unclear graphics and the blurry image remain despite 1.04.
Not for me. I instantly noticed a huge difference after the update. Keep in mind that I'm using Stadia Enhanced to force VP9 and 4K, however I had those enabled before the update and it still looked terrible. I also have Motion Blur disabled in the graphics settings.
I've done some research now and I can share my experiences with you:
I run at 1080p
So to me it seems to be question of support for vp9 or not!
Nope, I installed stadia enhanced and forced VP9. It doesn't help at all
And your hardware support hardware decoding of vp9?
I Also have blurry image. Google do something!
Same issue and it's extremely annoying. Stadia knows the issue and is basically ignoring it.
Blurry graphics aren't the only issue, framerate is also awful on PC (and quite good on Chromecast)
Stream is not the issue, internet connection is got. I can see from the in-game UI that the quality is good. It just seems like the game on stadia with a PC is running on a potato server with low graphic settings.
I agree. It looks cristal clear on chromecast but blurry on pc. I don't know why it's different. Very strange ![]()
On my chromecast it looks really great. I'm very bad playing shooters with controller so I want to use the pc.
After patch 1.05 it looks much better with the Stadia plugin app. But why does it still looks much better on the chromecast:(? Anything we can do or is it really something google has to fix? The framerates are good on pc.
@cabo087 I also don't like to play shooters with controller. But try to adjust the controller settings for Cyberpunk... The defaults are not good at all. Under control settings you can turn on advanced first person controller settings and then bring almoast every slider down to 0 except horizontal & vertical sensitivity.
This improoved it a lot...
Before I could not win against 2 enemies in 1 small room... Now I can beat enemies easily with the games aim targeting help.
@DarklinkFighter thanks for your tip. I will give that a try.
