I'm getting pretty poor performance on Stadia. When I run the stadia speed test it's reporting back that my speed is less than 2mbs. When I run multiple other speed tests I'm getting downloads of around 200mbs. I'm super confused as to what is going on. Any ideas?
@Rollotamassi when you say you're running Stadia speed test, do you mean from this website?
https://projectstream.google.com/speedtest
If yes, the speed test will check your connection quality relative to data centers that's hosting Stadia. It could be that your location is far away from the data centers, or there might be others factors involved.
When your run the usual speed test, it will usually find the closest server to test, so that may explain the discrepancy.
Also just want to check, which country are you based, and are you using VPN?

@Ivan Thanks for replying! Yes, that it the speed test I am running along with the one at speakeasy.net. I am in the US and I am not using a VPN> I tired running the test again this morning and now the Stadia speediest and other speediest are both saying I am over 200mbs so I am guessing it has something to do with my ISP.
I'm about to make a large post with the four days of troubleshooting I've done on this.
Something, somewhere, within Stadia and Google's network routing is broken and they refuse to even consider that it's on their end.
I'm having the same issue. Are you on Cox? Is there anything we can do?
Nothing really you can do, besides troubleshoot everything 60 times each day, and pray that google acknowledges its on their end with something, but that is wishful thinking since they claim its
1) Your not using ethernet cable (which in itself breaks the whole purpose of stadia)
2) You are not using 5gh wifi ( which is another problem by itself )
3) You are too far from the access point of your internet ( blah blah blah)
4) God forbid you use a chromebook ( since some of them have problems running stadia, according to my other post on here, i find to be dumb)
5) maybe you didnt check the ports to make sure they are open for stadia ( im sure alot of people have, myself included and still have problems)
the list can go on and on and on. but its NoT GoOGlEs EnD ThATs ThE PrOBlEm, even after troubleshooting under the **bleep** sky. thought some people dont have problems with stadia at all while others do.
I also think they would stop stadia services all together before acknowledging its on their end. cause ya know being a Behemoth company and all. /shrug
