Hi, I'm playing Stadia on Chrome on PC. This is my Speed Test with nPERF, and these are the images of dark ambients in Metro: Exodus. In lighted-up ambients, no problem. But when it gets dark....
Same for other games anyway, at least for me.
Have you tried disabling HDR in the Stadia app to see if that improves things any?
Thank you. Does that HDR setting on the smartphone's Stadia app affect the video quality of the games, even if I play with keyboard and mouse on Chrome browser on PC on a standard monitor?
I have the exact same problem and cannot find a solution.
This might be a software problem because I connected a second screen and had the same issue.
I also tried to reinstall grafic drivers and to adjust colors, gamma, etc.
On my smartphone the video quality is fine.
my Hardware:
Dell Inspiron 5749, 8 GB Ram
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz, 2401 MHz, 2 Kern(e), 4 logische(r) Prozessor(en)
Nvidia GeForce 840M
ASUS VS278
I have the same issue, its so annoying! Stadia looks amazing on chromecast or mobile, but in chrome its blurry and dark. I did find a workaround though, just use MS Edge. I dont have any strange add-ons or anything on chrome, but for some reason it does not work as well as Edge.
I also have the same issue with Cyberpunk 2077. For me it makes no difference wether i use Edge or Chrome. On both the game looks pixelated/blurry in dark areas. I also completley reinstalled my graphic driver, nothing changed. Also I got the game and installed directly on my PC, there I had no problem with that issue. I also tried it on my Surface Pro 2 in the same network an the problem is not occuring. So my network shouldn´t be a problem, I also have 1000mbit/s and ping is also at around 17 ms (tested with PingPlotter). It also makes no difference if i connect my PC via Wifi or Cable. I think it has something to do how the nvidia graphic driver handles Chrome/Edge, i also tried to change some settings:
-> powermanagement Mode - > Set it on max Performance prefer
-> mode for low latency->Set IT on ultra
but no difference at all. If somebody could help i would appreciate that. Thanks a lot for your answers.

It's blurry for me on Chrome but sharp in the incognito mode. Google support suggests it's due to some Chrome extensions but switching them all off did not help. Resetting Chrome settings to default helped. It also switched off all extensions.
