Has anyone noticed lately a lot of "Unstable Connection" since MS Xcloud launched? I have never had any issues on chrome or when using the Chromecast ultra while playing on Stadia, but the past couple weeks have been terrible. I never use wifi when playing so I know it isn't that. I did try a speed test through Stadia's checker and it came up at 197.319 Mbps today. This only happens on Stadia
Not in California. Actually, not in the same country. But I'm sure you're aware that the data centers that Google and Microsoft use for these services are completely separate. If you're having issues on both Chromecast and Chrome equally on a wired connection it might be something to do with a chance at your ISP level in regards to how it does peering or if you're on a cable internet provider it might be local node congestion. You can tell if it's local node congestion if the problem is inconsistent depending on time of day (for example, if you were to get up at 4 in the morning and try playing there is no problem but at 8 PM it stinks).

Local node congestion, that is probably what the issue is... I've never had an issue before and All of a sudden kablam! Today for example I was able to get on with the warnings for about 90 minutes at 3:45 PST. And then at 6:00 p.m. it started giving me the connection errors. Of course my ISP told me to check with Google, after Google told me to check with the ISP. Thank you that makes a lot of sense ![]()
