My screen suddenly went black (Borderlands 3, Chrome, Laptop), but audio is still sort of looping. Based on the sound, the controller doesn't seem to be manipulating my character, but it's hard to know for sure. Anyhow, I've killed Chrome, turned Wi-Fi off and then back on, I've rebooted, cleared cookies, and I've even switched over to gameplay on Chromecast, but every time I bounce back into the game within the 5 minute window it's picking up exactly where I was, and still with black screen and repetitive audio (a siren going in the game). Right now it's just running in the background, and I'm hoping I get the error screen that seems to really fix issues like this via a crash (sadly, it happens often enough), but I've never had an instance where it's like the game is just plain stuck. I really don't want to lose the last hour I spent trying to kill some bosses (and the loot still laying around), so I guess I'll just let it run and see what happens. Has anyone had an experience like this? One more little detail, when I try to take a screenshot, it says "couldn't save your screenshot, but try again now".
Hi there,
Have you tried to launch it on your mobile and then back again and check if that somehow kicks it into gear? If not it sounds like something that you should contact Google support about or tweet them with an image of the issue.
I don't have a mobile device that supports gameplay if that's what you're suggesting, but I didn't open the app either on mobile. I finally just bagged on the session though, so I can't try anything else. Oh well. I did send info directly to Google though too. Thanks!
